Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design and operate our data infrastructure at the petabyte scale. Ingest, processing, storage, serving.
- Build the pipelines that take raw capture data from device upload to training-ready dataset.
- Make the platform fast, cheap, and reliable as we scale from single-digit petabytes to tens of petabytes and beyond.
- Work directly with the ML and device teams to remove every bottleneck between capture and training.
- Use AI coding tools as a core part of your workflow.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems and modern data infrastructure. Object storage, streaming, columnar formats, orchestration.
- Strong cloud fundamentals. You know what a workload should cost and how to get it there.
- High agency — you don't wait to be told what to do.
- Fluent in English.

We are a venture-backed AI robotics startup based in Silicon Valley, dedicated to scaling the deployment of robots in real-world environments. Our strategy focuses on two key areas: first, leveraging an extensive distribution network (with partners including Midea, Mercedes-Benz, Procter & Gamble, and others) to deploy robots into practical application scenarios; second, collecting diverse data across heavy industry, home services, and other sectors through varied methods. We deploy robots from OEM partners—including KUKA.
