Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) for recreational four-wheel vehicles, managing the dashboard, motor controller, BMS, and mobile app via CAN bus. Integrate Bluetooth, SD card, and IMU modules with a strong focus on real-time performance and memory safety.
- Define and maintain encrypted communication protocols between the VCU and various subsystems.
- Tune motor drive and BMS parameters to optimize vehicle performance and ensure safety standards are met.
- Lead the embedded engineering team. Demonstrate strong management skills by overseeing code repositories, establishing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines, conducting code reviews, and ensuring quality control.
- Optionally contribute to the development of motor drive firmware and algorithms if interested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or a related STEM field preferred.
- Proficient in C / C++ with extensive experience in 32-bit MCU development; skilled in using RTOS.
- Experience in designing complex embedded system architectures; understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and common design patterns.
- Familiarity with computer network protocols and BLE is a plus.
- Proficient with tools such as VS Code, Git, and Jenkins; experienced in using debugging hardware like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Prior experience in developing complex smart hardware for drones, robots, robotic vacuums, lawnmowers, or AGVs is highly preferred.
