Mechanical Structure Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical system design for recreational go-karts and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), including suspension, body, steering, and braking systems.
- Deliver comprehensive design documentation, including conceptual and detailed designs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives; collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues related to sheet metal stamping, CNC machining, and injection molding processes.
- Assist test engineers in conducting performance and reliability testing.
- Participate in prototype assembly and validation, iteratively optimizing tolerances and fits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field; 3+ years of experience. Prior experience in structural design for electric mobility products (e-bikes, e-scooters, ATVs, UTVs) is preferred.
- Proficient in CAD software such as Pro / E (Creo), SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA); ability to independently conduct structural strength and durability analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for metallic and non-metallic materials, including surface treatment and forming techniques.
- Experience in transmission system design with the ability to perform independent kinematic simulations.
- Skilled in topology optimization and lightweight design methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of rapidly identifying and resolving structural issues during the R&D process.
