ISP Expert / Chief Scientist

Responsibilities
- Lead R&D of specialized ISP algorithms for the XR domain, ensuring the company’s ISP technology remains competitive and industry-leading.
- Analyze competitor designs to identify strengths and weaknesses at the algorithmic level; leverage feedback from product architecture, hardware, market, and sales teams to continuously innovate and design ISP IPs that are both competitive and market-recognized.
- Understand the product and market logic driving technological iteration to ensure optimal ROI on R&D investments.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree or above in Optical Engineering, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Electronic Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in ISP R&D and management, with deep familiarity across algorithms, products, and markets; proven track record leading ISP technology deployment in mobile phones, automotive, security, and XR sectors.
- Expertise in end-to-end ISP algorithm design and a thorough understanding of industry capabilities.
- Prior experience with large-scale commercialization of ISP-related complete devices or chips is highly preferred.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, capable of clearly articulating technical solutions and driving implementation.
- Passionate about image quality and algorithm design, with keen problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to lead teams through technical bottlenecks.
