Drone-pilot Training & Standards Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Establish a professional drone pilot training system and certification standards, including curriculum design, instructional materials, and assessment mechanisms.
- Lead the development and management of the instructor team, cultivating internal trainers to ensure high-quality training delivery.
- Supply qualified drone pilots to the company and ecosystem partners, building a robust talent pipeline.
- Monitor updates to industry training standards (e.g., CAAC) and continuously optimize the training system and course content.
- Manage pilot certification and assessment processes, establishing a competency evaluation framework to ensure all pilots are certified before operation.
- Implement a training effectiveness evaluation mechanism, tracking post-training operational performance to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Oversee training equipment and facilities to ensure smooth execution of training programs.
Requirements
- Associate degree or above; majors in Aviation, Surveying & Mapping, Education, or related fields preferred.
- Hold CAAC Drone Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) Pilot or Instructor certification with extensive practical flying experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in drone training or education, with a solid understanding of industry training standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong capabilities in curriculum development and training management, with the ability to independently design training courses and assessment plans.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills, with a proven ability to impart flight techniques and safety knowledge effectively.
- Experience in building training systems or prior work at AOPA / UTC accredited training institutions is preferred.
- Responsible, patient, and possesses strong safety awareness.
