Platform Product Director
A Low-altitude Economy Big Data Company
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall product planning for the Low-Altitude / 3D GIS Data Platform. Leverage capabilities in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Machine Vision, and Autonomous Driving to define mid-to-long-term product roadmaps, align with business strategy, and address platform capability gaps.
- Oversee the design of a standardized platform foundation. Define core modules, data models, and API capabilities to streamline the full lifecycle of multi-source data ingestion, processing, rendering, and service delivery, supporting both internal operations and external project implementations.
- Collaborate with R&D, Solutions, and Business Development teams to balance standard product iterations with custom project requirements. Drive PRD execution, version releases, and post-launch reviews to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Research cutting-edge technologies and competitors in GIS, Computer Vision, and Autonomous Driving sectors. Identify innovation opportunities by integrating Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities and lead product capability upgrades.
- Establish product team workflows and manage the product manager hierarchy. Foster cross-departmental collaboration and align with the business needs of various subsidiaries to ensure a closed-loop product implementation process.
- Participate in early-stage communications with key clients and major projects. Provide product-side solution inputs to support pre-sales bidding and business expansion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above with 5+ years of experience in B2B platform product management. Cross-industry backgrounds are acceptable; experience with GIS, spatial data, visual perception, or autonomous driving platforms is preferred.
- Proven track record of taking large-scale complex platforms from 0-to-1 through to scaled iteration. Expertise in the full product lifecycle, including strategic planning, requirement decomposition, PRD documentation, and version management.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, middle-office architectures, and API service design. Familiarity with the business logic of spatial data, 3D rendering, and multi-modal data processing.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, capable of coordinating between R&D, pre-sales, and delivery teams to resolve conflicts between standardization and customization.
- Broad industry perspective with a willingness to explore advancements in GIS, computer vision, and autonomous driving. Demonstrated insight into the practical application of LLMs within industry platforms.
- Strong logical thinking and resilience under pressure, with the ability to lead product teams to achieve business objectives.
